W2: Vocab Self-evaluation

For today's class, we're going to learn four key terms in Ch2: estate planning, family limited partnership, buy-sell agreement, and living trust. Our agenda today is as follows:
1. Fill out the W2 vocabulary self-evaluation form (download from your email)
2. After completing the evaluation form, you may have had a sense of how much you know about the four key terms. The next step is to search online to fill in the missing information about the four key terms.
3. Here are some steps for you to write your own vocabulary blog:
(1) What is the meaning of "estate"?
(2) What is "estate planning"? (What kind of things are included for estate planning?)
(3) What is "family limited partnership"? (Why is it important for the small business?)
(4) What is "buy-sell agreement"? (In what situations, is "buy-sell agreement" needed?)
(5) What is "living trust"? (What is the difference between a living trust and a will?)
4. After you write up your vocabulary blog, go to at least two fellow students' blogs to leave your comments. Here are some tips for you when you leave the comments:
(1) Do they give correct information?
(2) Do they provide any pictures, videos, articles, or links that help me understand the meaning of the word?
(3) Do they provide any synonyms and/or antonyms that help me understand the meaning of the word?
5. If you finish all the four steps above, CONGRATULATIONS!!
